Welcome to the Main Screen

...... where most of the data for your sightings is entered. As you can see it is clearly laid out with buttons .......... and a menu .... living up to our promise of making it very easy to use.

As we have said earlier, there are over 100 photographs of birds in this program.... each of an excellent quality .... each of which can be magnified up to nearly twice the size of your screen .... enabling you to get a look at finer details of markings etc. But the beauty of our system is that you can insert your own photographs and map images so easily .... by just clicking on the one button 'Insert photo1, 2 or 3', each having its own Note section.... the same goes for Video .... and for those of you who are really keen you can also import the sound of birds ............... or your own spoken commentary ..... just by double clicking on the sound bars ....

On the screen we have also placed some 1st Seen tick boxes .... for Common Name, Place, County, Country and Date ............... so that you can produce and print your own Life List, 1st Seen lists etc. ......

We have also added another useful tick box .... one for making out your own Tick List of the birds that you might expect to see .... on a particular birding day's outing .... you can print it out from the Print List, fix it to your clip board, then all you have to do is fill in the empty boxes for the respective bird that you've seen ..... great idea eh!!!! Saves a lot of time ......

Cat. stands for Category, where there is a drop-down menu which you can alter to suit yourself ..... to enter Mammals, Insects, Butterflies etc. ....
